At Deadstock AU we want every customer to be happy with their purchase. Please read our policy carefully before placing an order.
Our Policy
Deadstock AU follows the guidelines set out by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Your rights under the ACL are not affected by this policy.
Change of Mind & Wrong Size
We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or store credit for change of mind purchases or if you have ordered the wrong size. Please ensure you review your order carefully before completing your purchase. This includes but is not limited to:
- Ordering the wrong size, colour, or variant
- No longer wanting the item after purchase
- Finding the item cheaper elsewhere
- Deciding you do not like the product after receiving it

Faulty or Not as Described
Under the Australian Consumer Law you are entitled to a remedy if a product is:
- Faulty or defective upon arrival
- Significantly different from the description or images shown on our website
- Not fit for the purpose it was described for
If you believe your item falls into any of the above categories please contact us at help@deadstockau.com within 7 days of delivery with the following:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos or video evidence of the fault or discrepancy
We will review your claim and respond within 1-2 business days. If your claim is approved we will offer one of the following remedies depending on the nature of the issue:
- A full refund to your original payment method
- A replacement item if stock is available
- Store credit
Return Shipping
If a return is approved for a faulty or not as described item, Deadstock AU will provide a prepaid Australia Post return shipping label at no cost to you. Returns must be sent back within 5 business days of the label being issued. Items must be returned in the same condition they were received. For sealed product, the item must remain unopened and in its original packaging. We reserve the right to reject a return if the item is not returned in the condition it was sent.
Sealed Trading Card Game Products
Sealed trading card game products including booster packs, booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, tins, and collections contain randomised card contents by nature. We do not accept returns or provide refunds based on the cards received from opening sealed product. This is not considered faulty or not as described under Australian Consumer Law as the randomised nature of the product is clearly disclosed at the time of purchase. Returns for sealed product will only be accepted if the item arrived damaged, was not as described, or was incorrect.
Refund Processing
Once your return has been received and inspected we will notify you of the outcome within 2 business days. If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5 business days. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major failure you are entitled to a replacement or refund. If a product has a minor failure we may choose to repair or replace the item rather than provide a refund. For more information about your consumer rights visit accc.gov.au.
